Punjabi Language & Sikh Heritage at the Core of Education
GAD School Family Events
At G.A.D. School, education is not just about academics — it’s about identity, values, and community. Central to our mission is the deep integration of Punjabi language and Sikh heritage into daily learning, shaping students who are not only knowledgeable but also rooted in their culture and faith.
From Kindergarten through Grade 9, every student engages in Punjabi language instruction that goes beyond conversational skills. Students read, write, and explore Punjabi literature, enabling them to connect with family, community, and heritage in meaningful ways.
Our curriculum also celebrates Sikh history, values, and teachings. Through Sikhi Studies, students gain an understanding of Gurmat philosophy, Sikh Gurus' lives, and key historical events that shape the Sikh identity. This is further supported by regular Kirtan, Tabla, Gatka, and Seva activities, nurturing both discipline and spirituality.
Cultural traditions like Bhangra, Giddha, and festivals such as Vaisakhi are woven into school life, allowing students to experience their heritage with pride and joy.
We believe when students know where they come from, they gain the confidence to thrive wherever they go. G.A.D. School’s approach ensures that culture, language, and faith are not afterthoughts — they are the foundation of a balanced, holistic education.
