We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge, Maihr Kalsi, a previous grade 9 student at G.A.D. While in her 9th year here at G.A.D., she created a Heritage Fair Project on the First Nations Attire in each Province of Canada. Maihr was in the top three for the Regional competition and won the Stellar Achievement Award as well as the Indigenous Award. Following that, she was selected for the Provincial competition and her project is currently being displayed in the Museum of Surrey. Take some time to take your chid(ren) down to the Museum of Surrey so they can see her amazing project before it is no longer there.
