We had our annual school Heritage Fair where students showcase their Canadian knowledge and pride through projects/presentations about Canadian history, important people, and events that helped shaped Canada. Representatives from the Museum of Surrey (located in Cloverdale) came out to give feedback to our students who are competing this year in the Regional competition in April. Students have been working really hard the last few months to showcase their learning into a Canadian topic of their choice such as the Komagata Maru, Louis Riel, Residential Schools, Viola Desmond, Oka Crisis, the Canadian Mint and more. Wish our students luck as they move on to the Regional competition on April 26th, 2024.
