Today we had our 3rd annual Walk for Wenjack. We walk to raise awareness of the lives lost to Residential schools by the Frist Nations of BC. Students reflect upon the story of Chanie Wenjack who was taken from his family to Residential school. He tried to walk home of the "secret path" but never made it. We honor his life and lives of all of the other children forced into Residential schools, and those who never came home.
